Let Me Listen

The last few days have brought up so many emotions. Frustration. Anger. Confusion. Distrust. Concern. Loneliness... But I'm also finding myself feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful to have supportive friends and family and co-workers. Grateful to have a partner to laugh and cry with and hold at the end of the day. Grateful that my new home of Seattle is taking this so seriously.
We have no idea how the coming days and weeks will play out, but I do know that given the level of social distancing and isolation, it's more important than ever to find creative ways to still connect with other humans.
As a coach, I'm trained to challenge, support, call out and sometimes be hard on my clients. But more than anything, my job is to listen. Listen to your stories and joys and fears and frustrations and anxieties.
I've done a lot of thinking about ways I can help. I've realized that right now, we don't need tough love to push us toward our dreams. We need gentleness and calm. We simply need to be heard.
For the next two weeks (at least), I'm offering free coaching sessions to anyone who needs it. If you're worried about your personal health, let me listen. If you're angry at politicians, let me listen. If you're annoyed at your neighbor who bought all the toilet paper, I'll absolutely listen. Hell, if you're having the best week of your life and that feels kinda confusing right now, I'll listen to that too! Message me, and we'll set up a call. You are loved and you are not alone.
Stay safe everyone!
